Dead Woods The better part of ShadowClan territory is covered in dead trees, and recently that has become a very dangerous fire hazard. The bark of these trees are so brittle and dry that the heat alone has caused a few of them to burst into flame. Most of them grow far enough apart to keep the fires from spreading, but if the wind should ever pick up, the entire forest could be engulfed in flames. The ground is equally dry and barren, all of the ferns have died off, and the moss has crumbled into thin dust. The earth crunches underpaw, making it almost impossible to hunt. Even if there were any prey to catch, they'd hear you long before you could sneak up on them.

Burnt Meadow The scent of ash and burned wood fills the air as you near this meadow. It sits barren and black, even the soil burned to dust. Nothing lives here, not even mice or voles. ShadowClan cats come here at times to rid themselves of fleas or other pests. If a cat should roll in the ash, it would give them protection from such annoyances, but they would also have to deal with the pungent smell and dirty pelts. Apprentices come here to train. The ground is soft enough to cushion any mock battle attacks.

ShadowClan Camp ShadowClan's camp is well protected, deep in an underground cave. There are many tunnels leading off of the main cavern that create the dens. The warriors and apprentice dens are to the right, through a narrow passage that forks in the middle leading to two separate dome shaped caverns. The elders den is in the very back of the main cavern, through a crack in the rock. A large, moss covered cave with an opening in the roof that lets in light. Down another tunnel is the leader's den, a small nook just big enough for two cats to curl up together. The queens and kits are kept in yet another offshoot, a short, wide tunnel leading into a warm cavern with a layer of dried moss covering the ground. The medicine cat's den is a secondary cave, not located inside the main cavern. It is much smaller, but large enough for several cats to be taken care of at once.

Misty Bog A soggy stretch of land full of puddles and reeds... Or at least it used to be before the drought. Now the ground is so dried out that the entire patch of land is covered in thick mud. Oh sure, there's a bit of water in the center, but no cat can get to it and get out alive. Medical herbs grow here and there, but they're equally as hard to get to. No cat wants to risk their lives to get them. Frogs and snakes are plentiful here though, so its pretty easy to catch them, as long as you know which snakes are not poisonous, and you stay along the edges of the bog where you wont sink to far.
