Moss Grove There isn't much cover in this large stretch of hot, moss covered landscape, now brown and dry from the drought. A few stunted trees and shrubs here and there, but it's mostly wide open space. Any cat looking for a good meal would be disappointed. Nothing lives here anymore. The ground is bristly and dry, the moss has died. It could be harsh to walk on, especially for those with soft pads. The thunderpath that lines most of the border between ThunderClan and RiverClan veers off and cuts through this part of RiverClan territory. It's very dangerous. Many careless cats have been trampled by twoleg monsters.

River The namesake of this clan, the river that runs through their territory is wide but shallow, and narrowing out each day. The water is now muddy and slow moving. Some places are deeper than others, but none to deep for a cat to cross. Fish can be caught here, but seek them where the water is deeper, they're trapped in those parts. water. They are the main food source of RiverClan cats. Herbs still grow by the river's edge in plentiful amounts, and are harvested by the medicine cat. Patrols have been set on the far end of the river though, rumors have spread that there may have been some ShadowClan intruders.

RiverClan Camp The RiverClan camp is in an unusual place. It sits behind a muddy trickle of water that used to be a clear waterfall, deep in a cave in the rock ledge. The camp is very open. The warriors and apprentices dens are near the back, separated by a small boulder. The elder's den is off to one side, through a narrow passageway leading off into another, much smaller cave. The leader's den is on the opposite side, but you have to climb up a small ledge to get to the shallow crack in the rocks. Beside the leader's den is the medicine cat's den. It sits just through a wide split in the rocks, a large cave with many ledges and smaller cracks. A small pool of water used to sit in the very center, filled with fresh water from a small leak in the roof of the cave, but now it's completely dry. Queens and kits are kept in a ring of stones covered in soft moss in the middle of camp.

Reed Marsh Almost half of RiverClan's territory is taken up by this large reed marsh. Many species of birds used to thrive here along with water voles, shrews, and mice, but now they have fled. Frogs and snakes can be found here every once in a while, but you'll have to dig to reach them. The ground is dry and cracking now, and the reeds aren't fairing much better.
